So we have very interesting results
The host South Africa are OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT, beaten by Mali on penalties after a 1-1 draw in a 120 minutes of football.

Earlier in the day, Ghana beat Cape Verde 2-0

The other set of QF matches awaits tomorrow.

And so there you have it. Africa's powerhouse Nigeria are into the final for the first time in a decade by beating Mali 4 -1 , while Sparrows of Burkina Faso overcame the Blackstars of Ghana on penalties.
